The Beanpot goes to the ballpark

BOSTON (AP)—Fenway Park is the home of a college hockey doubleheader,including the first outdoor women’s college hockey game in history.
New Hampshire beat Northeastern 5-3 in the women’s game Friday. It wasfollowed by a men’s matchup between Beanpot rivals Boston College and BostonUniversity.
The faceoff for the second game came with a temperature of 21 degrees and awindchill of 12, though the air had cooled to 19 degrees by the second period.Snow flurries were steady early on.
The game comes a week after the NHL’s Winter Classic between the BostonBruins and the Philadelphia Flyers.
